On 13th October we’ll be having our Autumn Lecture. Tickets are sold on the door for £6 (£5 concessions) and include refreshments, available from 7 pm (lecture starts at 7.30). Entry is free to Friends of the Stained Glass Centre. Hope to see you there!
We have a larger number of books for sale following a generous donation of books from Peter Gibson, as well as Michael Archer. The books are primarily on art, architecture and stained glass, many focusing on the city of York. Our lecture programme for 2016 is now available here.
Dates for our popular hands-on workshops in summer 2016 are now available here. Priority booking for Friends of the Stained Glass Centre opens on 1 February, and general booking on 15 February.
The Stained Glass Centre will once again be opening for Residents’ Festival on Saturday 30th January. Join us between 10 am and 4 pm. For more information see our Events page.

Ann Sotheran FMGP (a York-based stained glass artist who worked with Harry Harvey for many years) will speak about “The Harry Stammers School of Glass-painting in York”.
