Stained Glass Centre open for Heritage Open Days

The Stained Glass Centre at St Martin cum Gregory is opening again for Heritage Open Days on Saturday 13 September between 11 am and 4.30 pm.  Another opportunity to visit one of York’s most beautiful secret buildings and learn about the art and craft of stained glass. An ancient church crammed with treasures that is now a national centre for exploring and understanding the glittering world of stained glass and fine craftsmanship. There will be tours of the Centre, craft and art stalls, and demonstrations. There will be exhibitions and films presenting the work of modern stained glass artists.  Please join us in this breathtaking Grade I building for family-friendly activities, including games, crafts, quizzes and an opportunity to try your hand at glass painting.
